Dedeman - 100% Romanian success, implemented by INTEGRATOR

Dedeman Company has been founded in 1992, expanding its activity in 14 years with seven commercial centers and 4 warehouses, with areas between 1,850 and 8,000 square meters. With over 1,100 employees, Dedeman now has a regional activity, one of the company’s objectives being expanding its network at national level. In 2002, Dedeman was in a expansion moment, but the software solution used then was not responding to its development needs. Also, after understanding that the old system made impossible tracking the economic processes within the company, it was decided the implementation of a SAP solution.

The project consisted in analyzing, modulation and implementation of all the processes within the company, taking into consideration the price policy and numerous contracts with clients and suppliers. Also, any adjustments were made in order for the solution to perfectly answer all Dedeman’s needs and ensured the proper training of all users, which took about 2 weeks. Another important aspect of the project was the information transfer into the new management system, in order to ensure the processes continuity and information consistency once into function.
One of the main benefits of using the SAP solution is the possibility to track costs, which offers top management, all reports on profitability of each item sold within the company, the profitability of each retail store as well as to all articles sold in each store or for each customer.
