Romanian Space Agency speed up collaboration through SPID™

Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is an independent public institution established in 1991. Its mission is to promote and coordinate development and national efforts in the field, to promote international cooperation as a Government representative and to establish research and development synergy between Romanian Space Program and other national research centers.

In order to create a better link among the communities of employees and partners involved in reaching the strategic goals, ROSA embarked in 1995 on the implementation of a Knowledge Environment based on SPID™ tool:

  • Developing and structuring the ROSA Knowledge Environment
  • Structuring and measuring value-exchanges between ROSA and its partners
  • Competency Management
  • Developing a Balanced Scorecard to link strategy and knowledge management

After a 9 months implementation projects, ROSA works today on a trully collaborative environment built on SPID™ web-based platform, supporting efficient knowledge sharing and effective internal knowledge processes.
